What are your main tasks?

By using my creativity and customer empathy, I am helping our clients to bring good business ideas alive.

What is your academical and professional background?

As a person originated in the field of Media, Marketing and Trendwatching I probably don’t have what you would call a “typical business consulting background”. However, it is my background that helps me to look at solutions consequently through the lens of the customer.

Next to my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Media Management at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM) I spent two semesters abroad – one in Edinburgh and one in Amsterdam focusing on the impact of trends on future products and services.

What made you decide to work for dgroup?

dgroup is a company where passionate people meet to create digital future – this was the perfect mix for me.

What really motivates you?

Motivation needs enthusiasm – And a fresh and smart idea gets me enthusiastic.

A true digital native with some very analogue passions

  • The Lean Startup (Eric Ries) – For sure a revelation for entrepreneurs
  • Thinking Fast and Slow (Daniel Kahneman) – If you want to build convincing products, you need to understand humans first. This book gives a great overview of behavioral psychology
  • Sapiens – A brief history of Humankinds (Yuval Noah Harari) – History was never told so vivid and entertaining

Which three things would you take to a lonesome island?

My guitar, some friends and the “DIY framework for getting off any lonely island”

Where have you lived?

Germany, Scotland and the Netherlands.
